Getting Started with TradeKitt

Welcome to TradeKitt! This guide will help you set up your account and start tracking commissions.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Contact us to get started. After purchasing, you’ll receive your account credentials.

Step 2: Add Your Technicians

From the admin dashboard, navigate to Technicians and add your team members. Each technician gets their own login and dashboard.

Step 3: Configure Line Items

Set up your products and services under Line Items. Each item has a base price that’s used for commission calculations.

Step 4: Set Commission Rates

Configure per-technician commission rates under Commission Config. You can set:

  • Per-item rates (specific rate per technician per line item)
  • Per-category rates (fallback rate per technician per category)
  • Discount-based sliding scales (optional)

Step 5: Record Sales

Start recording sales under Sales. Each sale snapshots the current rates, so future rate changes won’t affect past commissions.

Step 6: Connect Payment Processors

Under Integrations, connect your payment processors (Stripe, Square, PayPal, QuickBooks) to enable reconciliation.
